Having a delicious herbal tea or a warm nut milk based drink before sleep is a beautiful ritual to slow you down and prepare you for a good night sleep. I always try to have dinner early in the evening so I can have time to proper digest my food before sleep. And if I feel like having something else I love making my healthy chocolate goodnight drink, specially because I have a very sweet tooth. Here is the recipe:
- 250ml almond milk (or any other nut milk of choice)
- 1 tsp raw cacao
- 1 date
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If you like to warm it up, add it to a pan in low heat for a few minutes.
- Serve with extra cinnamon on top!
